Founded in NYC in 2005, Emanuela Duca delivers a powerful blend of ancient texture and modern refinement. Rooted in Roman heritage and shaped by New York’s creative edge, the brand creates sculptural jewelry forged in sterling silver and 18k gold. Over the years, the brand has received international recognition for its distinctive aesthetic and was selected by the Council of Fashion Designers of America as one of the representative designers for the prestigious CFDA Incubator Program from 2012–2014.
Each piece is crafted through a combination of techniques — from hand-carved wax modeling to fabrication and metalwork — using whatever process is necessary to achieve the right texture, movement, and three-dimensional form that expresses a particular state of being. The result is jewelry that balances raw earthiness with clean, contemporary lines, embodying modern femininity through elevated craftsmanship and timeless design.
Drawing from a background in sculpture, the artist approaches jewelry as wearable art, continuously exploring form, light, and emotion through tactile surfaces and fluid structures. In recent collections, radiant color and luminosity have entered the work, expanding the brand’s signature aesthetic while maintaining the volcanic, organic textures that define its identity.
Most recently, three blackened sterling silver rings with diamonds by Emanuela Duca were selected to appear in The Devil Wears Prada 2, worn by Emily Blunt throughout the entire film — a remarkable milestone for the brand and a celebration of its bold, sculptural language.
After 25 years in New York City, the artist now lives primarily in Rome, while continuing to travel frequently between Italy and the United States. The work remains deeply informed by both worlds: the timeless beauty and history of Rome, and the dynamic, modern energy of New York.
